Moments of Gratitude

It has been a whirlwind of travel, learning, and new experiences in the last three months. Although life continues to be busy with teaching, workshops, and creating in the studio, we are happy to be home and to have the opportunity to have quiet moments, more time for reflection, and to process the amazing journey and experiences we have had.  Our trip to Kari Minnick's studio close to Washington D.C. last week was a transformative experience for both of us.  We loved the way Kari described her creative process and got really excited about learning different techniques to achieve artful expression in fused glass. Here are a few pictures and details of Kari's beautiful collage work along with a picture of her spacious studio.

We are anxious to get into the studio and experiment more with the techniques we learned and to
share our creations with you.

On a personal note, my niece Meredith, husband Daniel, and little brother Eli announced the arrival of sweet little Hazel who came into this world early Friday morning! We are so excited for them and grateful for the miracle of a new tiny being in the world!

We are grateful for travel, creative expression, friends and family, and for our home, garden and studio.
It is a place that is happily familiar, peaceful, and allows for creativity and growth. It will be interesting to see how all of our experiences and learning will impact the days to come. We'll keep you posted.
