Happy Friday!

Happy Friday, my friends!  Was this not the longest week ever?!  Here are some of my favorite things that kept me grounded this week:

OMG.  Design Sponge did a Living In: Mannequin.  The window dresser named Hollywood = best 80's movie character.

I saw the Hunger Games three weeks ago and wished I hadn't cut six inches off my hair because Katniss's braid would be so epic for the workplace.

I've got two words for you: cadbury cupcakes.

A post all about different kinds of mayonnaise?  YES PLEASE!

Missing Picnik?  Try Picmonkey!Or, if Picmonkey won't work for you either, try Photoshop Express Editor (also free)

Rob and I are huge fans of the Bloggess (I bought him her audio book for his birthday), but I became an even bigger fan when she used the term "lady garden" on CNN.  Hilarity ensues.

Have you ever heard of Nina Katchadourian?  Check out the brilliant art portraits that she creates with toilet paper in her series Seat Assignment: Lavatory Self-Portraits in the Flemish Style

I've recently started subscribing to Longreads.com in my Google Reader, and it's been quite rewarding.  I encounter some really interesting stories every day, including this new study on helping the terminally ill cope with death, or this short bit of story from Ian McEwen.

Forget all of those shoe posts I posted because I have just found HEAVEN: BAIT Foot Wear

I love this BFF necklace set so very much.

If you only click on one link this week, make it this one.  This photo project by Jon Rafman pretty much blew my mind: The Nine Eyes of Google Street View

Friends, have an amazing weekend!  I am going to be working on some upcoming Sew Weekly projects, and hemming some pants that have only been sitting in the mending pile since November.  What will you be working on where you are?
